It was firstly about couples but it was finally stories about singles.
The serie was buy by NBC in 1994

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston is greek. she was born the 11 february 1969 in Sherman Oaks in California. She grew up in New York after one year in Greece with her grand mother because her parents did'nt have any money.

Her father, John Aniston was an actor and her mother Nancy was a model. But after an interview, Jennifer was angry against her mother. They didn't speak together.

Jennifer was 11 when she goes in the famous school of dramatic"Rudolf Steiner". Her parents weren't agree but she has her first role.

She was sensed for the role of Monica but she was engaged for Rachel.
This character have many things in common with her.

David Schwimmer was born Nov. 12, 1966, in Queens in New York. He spent his childhood in Los Angeles with his parents, Arlene Colman and Arthur, who are both lawyers, and her sister Ellis. He is a shy and reserved child. He studied at the college in Beverly Hills and hesitated to become doctor or lawyer. Thanks to the theatre classes at his school he discovered his vocation. He did more than dream of becoming an actor. He could then devote himself to his passion and proves to be as good writer and director actor. With his group, he staged many plays. He took his first steps in television in the early 90.He interpreted a role that was written especially for him, that of Ross Geller. In 1996, he even considered leaving the series because there were many journalists and paparazzi who harassed him. He is renowned as a director and producer. In particular, he directed ten episodes of Friends and will direct some episodes of the new series Joey. He lives between his property in Los Angeles and his small apartment in Chicago. He broke with his last girlfriend, the model Gina Lee in June 2004.She was thirteen years younger than him

Lisa Kudrow

Lisa Kudrow was born on July 30, 1963 in Encino, an elegant area of Los Angeles. She was raised in Tarzana, California. His father, Lee, was a physicist and his mother, Nedra, is a travel agent. She has two brothers and a sister. Nothing foreshadowed she becomes an actress. She succeeds brilliant biology studies in New York and was considering becoming a researcher. When she went to see one of the actors, a friend of her brother, she felt the urge to become herself an actress. She took classes in improvisation with a famous teacher in Los Angeles. She obtained her degree in 1989 and eventually realizes her dream: to enter the famous improvisational league The Groundlings. She started playing in a few plays, and in numerous television series. In 1994, she was involved in the series "Friends". She embodies the company's most crazy person of the serie. She lives in Los Angeles with a French man, Michel Stern, with whom she was married on May 27, 1995 and had a son, Julian Murray, on May 7, 1998.

The history of the serie..

Monica, a young cook approwimately 25 years old, lives alone in an apartment in Manhattan, in Greenwich Village. She finds a new roommate, in the person on Rachel, his former best friend from high school, she had lost sight of for years. In real spoiled child, rachel has never worked, and returned with Monica only because il found itself almost without resources after leaving her futur husband at the altar.
However, sincere friendships happen between the two women, and Rachel will integrate smoothly to the group of friends of Monica, composed of Phoebe (former roommate Monica), Ross(brother of Monice, secretly in love with Rachel), Joey and Chandler (the latter two sharing an apartment located opposite that of Monica and Rachel, in the same building). All these young people have in common to be single.
